'Tis the season to support our local four-legged friends in need! Local to the San Francisco Meraki team, SF SPCA is greatly in need of donations--whether it's your time, financial support, or essential products. Please give what you can, how you can, to support our PAW-some community!

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARP's) is a 501(c)(3) organization based out of southeastern Pennsylvania, namely Berks and Chester Counties. We are a foster-based program which helps us to have a better knowledge and understanding of our pets and their personalities before placing them in adoptive homes. We routinely rescue dogs whom are timestamped for euthanasia at high kill shelters, as well as taking in owner surrenders when our help is needed. Dogs are not our only specialty at NARPS!! We truly are aptly named with Noah's Ark! Horses are another focus of our organization and we save them as often as funds allow us to from the slaughter pipeline. We don't stop there though... we also take in pot bellied pigs, cats, chickens, calves and other barn animals. Noah’s Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (or NARPS for short) was founded in September 2015 by Candace Scheirer. NARP's does not shy away from animals who need serious medical attention or help and has been featured several times by our local news for taking on difficult and costly rescues.

Loki was Ulrika Friesen's sweet cat, and the unofficial mascot of the Employee Experience team in CX. In honor of his sweetness, and mischief, we're raising funds to support Humane Society Silicon Valley.

The Sloth Institute, located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, focuses on enhancing the welfare and conservation of sloths through the rescue, rehabilitation and release of hand-raised and injured sloths. While also conducting vital research, conservation and education programs to ensure their survival. Florida Trailblazer's FY23 Q1 Philanthropy

All about helping save the dogs.

There is only one turtle dedicated rescue center in Bulgaria. Over its 14 years of existence it has helped cure and hatch over 6 000 adult and baby turtles. They are fundraising 13K BGN (7K have already been raised) to equip a medical cabinet to treat injured turtles. Somos una pareja de San José, amantes de los animales, quienes desde que vinimos a vivir en la zona notamos que hay una problematica con los perros callejeros. Con pocos recursos, pero con mucho espacio y amor, creamos este albergue con la intención de ayudar y mejor las condiciones de vida de los de perros en condición de abandono que hay en la zona. Todo lo recaudado será para cubrir las necesidades de los perros que tenemos a nuestro cuidado, desde cuidados veterianarios, alimentación y cuidados básicos.

We are a charitable organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming at-risk dogs and cats. Although we started as a large dog rescue, we have expanded to finding homes for dogs of all sizes and ages -- plus a few kitties.

IAR Costa Rica rescues, rehabilitates and release injured wildlife. Supporting this cause will mean helping IAR growing the number of threatened wildlife by increasing their rescue center capacity. Fundraising for our furry friends!

Georgia House Rabbit Society (GHRS) was alerted to a hoarding situation in Dekalb County in May 2021. At the property, they found over 150 rabbits crammed into 8 hutches, living outside in filthy conditions. All of the rabbits were confiscated, triaged, and given immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, a few did not make it. But the remainder are safe and GHRS took in 125 bunnies. All of the confiscated rabbits needed vet care, including spaying/neutering and medical attention, including treating wounds from fighting, abscesses, mites, coccidia, syphilis, fleas, ticks, and sore hocks. Considering just a spay/neuter can cost $150-$180 per rabbit (not including other treatments that have been necessary), vet bills quickly mount up. The shelter could use our help! December 2021 Edit: This summer, one of the rabbits from the hoarding case suddenly died and came back positive for RHDV (a highly contagious and deadly virus in rabbits). The entire shelter had to be deep cleaned and closed for over 6 weeks for quarantine. While it increases the cost of sheltering each rabbit, every new rabbit that GHRS takes into the shelter must be vaccinated for RHDV as a precaution. November 2022 Edit: Can't believe it's been over a year since starting this fund! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Although the shelter has adopted out many of the bunnies from this emergency intake, there are nine rabbits from this hoarding case still waiting to be adopted and have been at the shelter since May 2021. Please consider donating to support these and the hundreds of rabbits that GHRS helps each year. Thank you!

The Macquarie Dublin office has a special association with the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. A number of years ago we sponsored the training of a puppy “MacDub” to become a qualified Assistance Dog. MacDub was placed with his family and quickly became “Best Friend” to Leon, a young boy with autism. MacDub is still working away as professionally as ever with his family and making a huge difference in their lives. This year Macquarie AirFinance in Dublin is getting involved with the IGDB annual fundraising campaign and taking on the challenge of walking, running or cycling 100km throughout the month of May! The money raised will enable the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind to change the lives of people who are vision impaired and the families of children with autism. Welcome to ProDogRomania! We are a non-profit association and would like to inform you about our animal welfare work in Romania. The association was founded in order to represent and promote the idea of animal welfare beyond the borders of Germany in Europe and especially to fight against the misery of dogs in Romania. In a country like Romania, where animal welfare is still in its infancy or even non-existent, we have set ourselves the goal of counteracting these abuses. Helping to help themselves is our first priority! We have been planning it for a long time... Until now there has never been the opportunity... A realisation was not possible... and now finally, together with the PDR Team Baile and the veterinary team from Timisoara, we will be able to realise the dream of a "Castration-Mobile-Vehicle"! Emergency calls keep coming in, especially from rural areas and up in the mountains. Many people there have little money & possibilities. For them, the way to Baile Herculane is half a world trip and they would never be able to come to our shelter for a free castration campaign. They would love to castrate their animals, but the journey with the animal to the vet simply cannot be made possible. In addition, there are many free-roaming dogs up there in the mountains, all of which are not neutered and continue to multiply year after year. With the Castration-Mobile-Vehicle we are self-sufficient and our veterinary team is mobile. We can travel to the villages and offer our free help - for owner dogs, but also for the free-roaming street dogs of the region. Mishu (Shelter Manager) is already talking to some of the mayors in the region to make them aware of this innovation. If dramatic emergencies are found during such missions, they can be taken to our shelter. All other dogs that are fit stay there and are allowed to live their free lives there. ProDogRomania e.V. will finance the complete vehicle and of course we need your help! The vehicle has already been found, the papers are ready and it will be brought to Romania as soon as possible!
